About Mt Lyford

Mt Lyford is the place where I ride and feel unexpectedly overawed. Why is this?
Is it the mountain weather, the high altitude, the views, the amazing herd of horses up there, the lovely kind trails that seem so easy and yet suddenly there I am at 3,ooo feet with a 360 degree view and right out to the East Coast. Is it Cathy Johns who cares for the operation with her bare heart. Is it because I love the area more than I realise.
