You may be interested in Over The Top, Rustic Adventure or the Sherwood Huts Rides. I have some dates for the next planned rides so you can join in on these fabulous multi day rides.

Read on if you think you would like to go riding over night. Join a party, or choose your own date.

Over the Top Ride-Otahuna Horse Riding

This is the overnight ride to Governors Bay and return.
Being very close to Christchurch and with a remote feel this is adventure on your doorstep.

Next ride planned for Thursday and Friday 19th and 20th November, then again on the 20th and 21st December. What a way to finish the year!

Cost $320.00pp for riding and transfer of gear.

Accommodation options and food to be arranged. There are a number of excellent places to stay in Governors Bay or you may arrange to be picked up and stay at your home and join us the next morning for the return ride to Otahuna via the sign of the bellbird.

Rustic Adventure-Mt Lyford Horse Riding

3 to 6 days riding Mt Lyford to Hanmer Springs and/or return.

I have two dates planned for this ride.

First: November 8th for warm up session-3 hours, then riding to Hanmer Springs 9th,10th,11th January.

Returning on 13th, 14th 15th November. You may return from Hanmer to Lyford and have your warm up session on 12th November at our base at Chatterton Farm in Hanmer Springs.

Cost $995.00 for three days and $1965.00 for six days including warm up session, accommodation, food, riding and transfer of gear.

Second-January 4th warm up session. Riding to Hanmer Springs 5th,6th,7th January, 2 spaces left.

Return trip: Warm up session 8th Jan, and return ride on 9th, 10th, 11th January, 6 spaces left.

Again you may ride one way or both ways and combine this ride with others in your family or group doing local activities who may join you in the accommodation along the way for $75.00pp per night includes food.

There is a linen upgrade and alcohol delivery available from Sherwood Lodge

Sherwood Huts Ride

Overnight to Sherwood Huts and return to Mt Lyford

I have two dates planned for this ride

21st and 22nd November, and again on 12th and 13th December.

Six places available. Others may join you at the huts for the evenings as above.

Cost $395.00pp for food, accommodation, riding and transfers.

Sherwood linen and alcohol upgrades apply.
